I recently bought myself this beautiful mug at Barns&Noble. I just loved the pattern on it. It makes me happy when I catch a glimps of it. This photo doesn’t really do it justice.
With the onset of Fall I start drinking more tea and other hot drinks. They seem so much better when served in this mug. Also I am trying to trick myself into drinking more liquids and figure it is more pleasant when presented in such a pretty package.
The other new toy I recently got was the new nano iPod. I used to have the old school iPod shuffle, so this is quite the upgrade. I love having access to all my songs not just one playlist at a time. I am still picking out podcasts to subscribe to. I found this new feature called iTunes University. There are several of the top universities posting their lectures for free.
I watched a presentation given by Dr. Nancy Andreasen on the topic of the creative brain. It was quite interesting and Dr. Andreasen is very captivating. She explored the nature of creative genius. At the beginning of the presentation I was feeling a little sorry for myself for not being a creative genius, however, by the end I was thankful that I am not. I wanted to leave a link to the lecture here, but apparently that is not possible right now. However, I highly recommend looking it up on iTunes.
