Sketching and branding for Etsy

I have been working on some drawings to use for branding The Frog and Owl.  I started with some images to use in my etsy banner. 

       

I then worked up the following banner utilizing the first two sketches.

I am not completely satisfied with it but it is better then my current banner made of clipart.

 

I want to give the banner a personal touch.  What do you think?
